Good Morning Sunshine, The World Says Hello

Seeing a friend yesterday I was greeted with a big smile and a "Good morning sunshine, the world says hello!" It was the afternoon- but it made me laugh. I thought of it again this morning when out with Leo and I saw these zinnia in the garden opening up. Ezra and I planted the seeds kind of late in the season, and so far, these are the first to open up and say their hello.

I think zinnia would have to go hand in hand (petal in petal) with dahlia for the friendliest flower.

Isn't there a saying about October showers bringing late sown flowers?
