Life Camera Action/Chew on This

I'm not one who usually goes on and on about the doings of their children. Having said that, yesterday while we were going to the grocery store the wind was whipping rather fiercely outside. Ezra, genuinely concerned for our state of well-being yells, "Momma, we gotta hurry- I think a tomato storm is coming!" Its funny how you so quickly forget the earnest feelings of being a child. He truly believes tornado is tomato and that there was one getting ready to blow us all away. If the tornado that took Dorothy to Oz was really a tomato, would they still be called the ruby slippers? Maybe they would be the saucy shiny slippers? Plum tomato pumps?

Is it stories like this that inspire parents to make stories and movies like Cloudy With a Chance of Meatballs? We haven't read the book, or seen the movie- but I wonder if there is a tomato storm?

For lack of a better segue, feast your eyes (I know its a stretch, but work with me here...) on some of these pictures from the movie Bright Star. It isn't quite as fabulous as my English friends mentioned yesterday- I never quite wanted to crawl into the film- but talk about some delicious eye candy. (See, more food....)

The movie is about the love story of poet John Keats and Fanny Brawne. Visually, it is a masterpiece.

Gor-ge-ous! This last picture here doens't even come close to how perfect the image is in the movie- he is laying on the tops of apple trees in full bloom...swoon.

Go see Bright Star if you are feeling in the need of a little romance (and I do mean a little, Keats died at the age of 25) or to just look upon something stunning and dreamy and at times, quite edible.
