Hubba Chuppah!

If Jamie & I ever decided to renew our vows- and if we ever thought we might convert to Judaism, this is the kind of chuppah I would want. It is completely made out of different paper, but mostly vellum. It reminds me of quilled paper scraps, wood shavings, ribbons and being t.p.'d. It is modern with an old world feeling. Pretty but not too proper. I love it. The million or so candles just add fuel to my fondness.

So mazeltov to Joy Thigpen and the others who helped make this on Once Wed! (I'll have to see what Jay says about the whole vow renewal thing for our 50th anniversary.)
